I am a graphic designer based in Norfolk, VA, with a focus on motion and visual storytelling. Growing up with depression and social anxiety, stories have always been a refuge, with shows, games, and other media often shaping how I see the world. This deep connection to narrative naturally extends into my work, where every project is an opportunity to tell a story visually.
It may seem counterintuitive that someone with social anxiety thrives in a field that relies on communication, and I've asked myself that question too. What I lack in social ease, I make up for with technical skill, focus, and attention to detail. Long hours immersed in projects allow me to explore ideas fully and push the limits of what's possible in design. My personal challenges have taught me patience, empathy, and resilience, all of which influence the way I approach design and turn perceived flaws into strengths that shape a unique creative perspective.
My goals are to continue learning and expanding my skills across all areas of design, with a particular focus on 3D animation. This will allow me to bring more of the stories in my head to life in a visually compelling way. I also hope to make progress in opening conversations about mental health, helping others feel less alone and encouraging access to the support they need. Professionally, I aim to work in a collaborative environment with a small team of trusted creators, where creativity, ideas, and experimentation can thrive.
